Snooping Around!

Posted by Tai Le , Wednesday, December 31, 2008 12:24 PM

So I'm currently watching a Korean Drama... It's titled "Snow White". I hear it's really funny, but how much funny? So far it's been hilarious! Okay well probably I should update. For the past week I have been stuck at my grandma's and aunt's house... don't take me wrong, it's been fun!... Maybe I'm just sick because I really want to go out in service. Babysitting has it's ups and downs. "Ya' know"? Oh well.

So the title of this entry is "Snooping Around". Why? Well. I just realized that my aunt (from VN) is probably miserable living over here. Her only family is my aunt (in-law). I caught a glimpse of her journal/diary while I was vaccuming the house. Just at the first sight of her journal... it's hard to read because you would think it's all scribbles, but most Vietnamese people write in cursive type like that... So while vaccuming the house I guess you could call me a snoop. I mean, I'm the "go-to-guy" when you've lost something. It's like a have a nose like a dog.. (Except I don't sniff out things.. ?) Moving on --> So I read bits and pieces of how her life in the U.S. (or My in Vietnamese) has been not what she expected, and how she's working hard, and going to school just to be able to have a decent life..., and save up enough money to go back to Vietnam. Well I guess that's just how it is when you first start a new life in a new place. T_T Sad.

Well so I decided to get her a gift because she says that she doesn't have any friends here, and it's just work, and school. Again, sad. So I've decided to get her a notebook! It'll be for anything! Since her diary is old, and wrinkled, I'll get her a journal from the Hello Kitty store! And maybe some pencils and pens. :] I am so smart! I hope it'll help her "fighting fighting~!"

Hah. I'm multi-tasking. Watching "Snow White" and writing at the same time. So tomorrow is the new year, and we are changing our meeting schedule... No single bookstudy! So it's personal study for me! Yay! So tonight's the new change in schedule! Yay! I'm excited. Can you see how content I am? hehe

Okay well I think I'm going end this entry. I'm too consumed with this Korean Drama. Wow. I would never believe that I just said that.

See Ya!

Such A Winter Wonderland

Posted by Tai Le , Monday, December 22, 2008 11:45 AM

So signs of winter has definitely left a mark on Oregon. How? School was canceled for a week, and there's about 13 inches of snow outside, but that can't stop me! I'm unbreakable, and un-tornable. I'm currently uploading images of Oregon's weather.. so you'll have to wait while reading this entry until you can see the "Winter Wonderland". It's still snowing outside, and temperatures only begin to drop starting at 25 degrees... There are icicles hanging from my roof. You know, I would just die (wow... irony!) if I could break apart an icicle and pretend to murder a vampire with it.. like in olden times (hah!).. except it's not a wooden stake... T_T Oh wellers. This story will continue.

If you haven't noticed, I tend to go off subject a lot. What starts out as a harmless story of winter.. ends up with me talking about killing vampires... That definitely how I write my school essays.. No wonder why I end up recieving such low essay grades!!! :[ Just kidding!

So here are the pictures that took so long to upload!!! T_T Blogger just deleted half of my entry.. which is bad, but Oh WELL! Life will continue!

So these are the pictures that are finally done uploading! I have more.. but I guess I'll post them up later! :]

Looking Pass The Stone Walls

Posted by Tai Le , Friday, December 19, 2008 10:43 PM

Hmm. Looking pass a stone wall? Why is that my title of this post, and the title of my page? I really have no clue. It's probably from the inspiration of Basshunter and his music. I'm currently listening to him while I write. Music is a great thing you know? Many people get to express their own individuality trhough music. Wheter it's singing, or playing an instrument. Oh well. I'm blabbing on too much. Let's see.. My reason for this page.

In the past years I have always lost my commitment in keeping a journal. It and I suck. I can never keep a regualar basis on anything. So, this is "blogger" is supposed to help me. Well, all I can say is that I'm glad I'm not famous. Things that I write won't be up on ads, or spammed all around the web! YESH! No fame for me! So I'm trying to commit myself to keeping a journal wheter it's online, or offline.

Okay, again the reason for the title "Looking Past The Stone Wall" is because my whole life I have been trying to be someone who craved, and wanted to be popular, or liked, but I realized that I'm just me, and I need not to be anything other than myself. People will definitely accept me for who I am. I'm a Jehovah's Witness. Who cares?! Just because I don't celebrate holidays doesn't mean I don't have an exciting life. I get presents, and random gifts anytime. NO reason to wait until a birthday, or Christmas to wait for a present... >.<>.<

Well Until Later,
